Hey folks. I'm a 4th-year student at UGA, 21 years old, and between full-time projects, so I'd like to try out a few different styles of music as a fill-in for a band.

***My Credentials: Full-time classical piano training for 5 years as a child, and more recently classically-trained piano lessons for a year. Full-time training in Jordan Rudess' online conservatory for 2 years. Full-time vocal coaching in high school choir for 6 years (All-state selection on Tenor I, Tenor II, and Bass I for 5 years in mixed and men's ensembles), ACDA National Choir Student in 2005 ***For more metal vocals, I've self-trained to Mikael Akerfeldt's (Opeth) growl, so I'm willing to try my hand at that should you need it.*** Classical saxophone training and paid orchestra performer for 7 years. I'm experienced in the neoclassical, classical, rock, and metal styles/traditions, and my instrumental proficiencies and styles focus on organ, piano, synthesizer, and symphonic instruments.

***My Gear: Korg Triton TR88 Music Workstation (88-keys, weighted, 64-note polyphony), and a solid-state Crate amp for practices and small venues (in-house PA systems or someone in the band owning one would be preferred), along with all the accessories you would expect (pedals, cords, stand, bench, etc), Finale 2007, Guitar Pro 5.

My ideal setup would be an already working band that could use a little extra added to their sound. I'm fully capable of adding or arranging parts, and I'm also a quite proficient sight-reader should you have charts that you'd like me to learn. The only styles I'm not interested in are country, pop, emo, indie, and rap. Really anything else is fair game, so feel free to shoot me an e-mail with a short introduction to your band (general style, goals, venues played, etc.), and while I would give any band a try, I'll probably lean more toward a band that has some recordings posted on myspace or attached to their e-mail. Guitarist is a graduate of Atlanta Institute of Music and former lead guitarist for Liquid Sundrop. He also played lead guitar for local band Tritonic and has done studio work around Atlanta and Buford. Bassist is formerly of Dirty Sanchez and is experienced in studio work. Drummer is incredible and is currently playing with a local 80's cover band. We are experienced in all styles and also have many other musicians (horn, keys, percussion) on call to make your track perfect. Autism Awareness Benefit Concert Seeking Acts

Mark Leland and Tia Severino announce their plan to hold a benefit concert to raise funds and awareness about Autism. With Autism reaching epidemic levels, the two artists have decided to form an alliance with other acts and hope to build upon the success of previous benefit concerts like LIVE AID, BAND AID, and similar events.

Today in America, Autism is on the rise. One child out of every 150 children on average in the US is being diagnosed with the disorder, to varying degrees known as the Autistic Spectrum. On average, boys are four times as likely as girls to be diagnosed with Autism, more than 1% of all boys in America has some form of the disorder, of which the symptoms includes problems with communication and behavior as well as a host of physiological symptoms such as digestive and neurological problems.

The estimated lifetime expense of caring for a child with Autism is staggering: between five and ten million dollars.

The main beneficiary of the proceeds from the concert will go to Talk About Curing Autism, a California based non-profit organization with a chapter right here in Georgia. Smaller non-profit groups who are known for helping families with their struggle will be able to use the event as a fundraiser for their needs by promoting the concert, selling tickets, and earning a portion of the funds from those ticket sales.

In addition to performances from live acts, a silent auction will take place during the event with donated items which include art and other memorabilia. Artists and celebrity personalities (including Athletes) are invited to donate items for the auction. Auction items will be available to preview online prior to the event and will be displayed at the event.
