So.... let's see now.....

They had the time to argue about who gets the 12 year old crappy TV....or the Walmart "China" with mismatched colors.....and probably are still arguing about basic "crap" they accumulated in their sad life together... Yet they DID come up with one thing they can agree upon....they made a decision on things that matter little to them.

The 12 year old German Shepherd and the 10 year old mixed breed dog they had for so many years....
Well... they had their daughter drop them off at the local county KILL shelter! They could not even bother to do it themselves!

Even though they were told that once you give a dog or cat over to the shelter it can be put down ASAP... they cared not. They cared more about the TV that's now probably worth about 50 cents on the open market!

While I'm sorry about their divorce...I can not even THINK of how someone can have a dog for nearly TWELVE YEARS and have it dropped off to be MURDERED at a KILL SHELTER!!!!


I met both of these beautiful dogs..(they are ADOPTABLE AND SWEET)...and I took these bad pictures (sorry..was from my Blackberry BC even though they have cameras there...they had better things to do then post them online)!

BERLIN is a PB German Shepherd who is 12!~ His life long girlfriend is named JODI and is a mixed breed whatchamacallit dog! They are BOTH very friendly and confused beyond belief that they are now on DEATH ROW and have only DAYS left because of typical human selfishness!

I'm calling on all rescues and adopters out there....these dogs are GOOD! They are BOTH "fixed" and will leave with all vaccines up to date if required. I BEG of you to take these two...my wish is that they get to live together...but there are only a few days left in their lives.

EVERY THURSDAY is "execution" Day At Lumpkin County Animal Shelter!

Please HELP me find them a foster, boarding, or whatever it takes to get them out of there in the next two days! (we have until 1pm Thursday)!

Duke is an four and a half year old shitzu with a prominent underbite and a charming personality. I found Duke running around the streets of Athens and was able to contact his vet by his rabies tag. I am currently fostering him until I can find another good home for him.

He has wonderful manners, is fully housebroken, and up to date with all of his shots. Duke is a snuggly pup who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and people. He is not neutered but is a real gentlemen about it (no advances to other dogs, people, or things yet!). Duke’s favorite activities are nuzzling in your lap and following close by your side. He will make a fantastic companion for the lucky person who gets to love him.

As I have spoken to the vet about his history, I can answer any questions you have, so if you or anyone you know is looking for a sweet dog, let me know! See more pictures of Duke here .

All they require is that you use clumping litter (who on earth uses non-clumping litter?)
You simply roll the entire thing over to one side, and the clumps are caught in a drawer whilst the remaining, clean litter filters through a little compartment.
Remove drawer, empty clumps, and viola! Clean litter box.

I have two of these. The smaller sized one is great for kittens and smaller cats. The larger one is best for adult cats, and really all cats- the more room, the better.

The small one retails between $30 and $39, the big one retails between $40 and $48.
I'll take 20 for the small, 30 for the large.

They are sanitized and ready to go.

Simba is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm preventative. He is AKC registered and I have his papers. He is crate trained and about 90% house trained in that he will let you know when he needs to go outside but is still a puppy in ways (he *just* turned one year old). He knows basic commands, sit, down and walks on a leash fairly well. Simba was raised by a kind family with small children. I have not observed any aggressive tendancies towards people. He is good with my female dog but may try to be dominant with other males. I do NOT know how he is with cats or small dogs.

Simba has a soft temperment (looks like a black wolf BUT acts like a teddy bear) and is very easy to work with, he responds to positive training methods using praise and treats. He is VERY smart as befits his breed. A home with German Shepherd experience would be preferred. The only thing Simba needs is a little more socialization to increase his confidence in new and different places/situations. A family which would take him for walks to parks and visits with friends would be ideal. German Shepherds require excercise to stay physically and mentally healthy. Simba's adopter must be committed to providing the excercise needed. Simba is not super high energy but he is not a couch potato either.

Any dog requires an investment in time. Simba is a very, very special boy and deserves the time and training which would bring his full potential out. The reward will be a loyal, beautiful, noble and obedient companion who will give his family much love and joy.

Vet reference, personal reference, home safety check and adoption fee of $100.00 will be required. The adoption fee is required to show commitment and ability to care for Simba's needs. The adoption fee **will be donated** to a local German Shepherd rescue group. Simba has lost one family already, he needs to go to a stable and loving home. He needs to live primarily inside with his family.

The pictures do NOT do Simba justice, he is gorgeous and when I walk him people stop and stare and comment on him.

I would like to find a good home for my Canadian Pointer mix. His name is Monte. He is a 1-year old neutered black and white Canadian Pointer (with some whippet, I think). He is up-to-date on all of his shots and his rabies vaccination. He is also microchipped.He is also crate trained as well house trained. He eats and sits on command and weighs approximately 45lbs (slight mistake about weight before when I posted him). For anyone SERIOUSLY interested, I will included 1 month of Frontline Flea/tick and heartworm preventative mediciation (Interceptor), his hairbrush, toothbrush, crate, bowls, gentle leader leash, collars and rabies tag as well as his favorite toys. I am truly heart broken to be giving him away but I really don't have a choice. In addition to his items, I will also include some food by Nutro.

He is a very shy dog at first but will warm up to you later. He loves to run (as he has long legs). He also attended doggie daycare(Pawtropolis) in Bogart so he does VERY well with other dogs. He is kind of scared of very loud noises.
