I’m a 24 year old, female who’s starting grad school at UGA this fall, searching for a roommate.
What I’m Looking for: Non-Smoker, absolutely no drugs! I’d love to find a fellow grad student or young working professional. I certainly love going out, being social, etc., but please, don’t bring the party home with you! I’m a big animal lover, but would prefer no cats/dogs. That said, for the right roomie, I might consider them. Lastly, I just want someone who cleans up after themselves (at least in the common areas of the condo), is respectful and pays bills on time.
The Digs: I’m currently purchasing a beautiful, updated condo in Athens. It’s 10 minutes from UGA and less than 5 min. to the mall and most any restaurant or shopping venue you could imagine. It’s a 2 bed, 2.5 bath, corner unit. It’s in a quiet, safe complex that’s right on the river and has several acres of greenspace. You would have a spacious room and private bath that is just outside your room’s door. It’s a great, open floor plan downstairs, with the bedrooms upstairs. I’ll have all of the furnishings & appliances for the condo (aside from your room & bath). For those that like to cook, there’s a spacious kitchen and I plan to get all updated appliances. There’s also a sweet little brick patio for outdoor eating/grilling. Rent would be $375/month and we’d split utilities. It will be ready for move-in on Sat, Aug. 9. Hope to have pics soon!
About Me: I’m a very low-key person that can get along with just about anyone. I work/study hard, but also make time for friends and fun! I love the outdoors, have a horse and have ridden most of my life. I also have a serious boyfriend, however, we’ll be long distance this next year, so you can only expect to see him some weekends!
