I am a 28 year old professional female looking for a grad student, mature student, or young professional roommate starting Aug 1st or Mid August for a year lease. Renting out a room in a great 2 bedroom house. Hardwood floors, sunshine, clean environment, shared bathroom, kitchen, living room, and dining room, dish washer, washer and dryer, and central heating and air as well as attic fan. Laid back and relaxed environment- but definitely not a party house. Near the Navy School, safe neighborhood, huge back yard with hammock, and blackberry bushes. 3 miles from downtown- great walk and bike ride to campus. I have four dogs at the moment so you have to be ok with dogs..Sometimes I will have only 2 dogs- I am sharing custody with my x-girlfriend. Rent is $375 a month plus ½ utilities- water, gas, electric, basic cable, and wireless internet. At the most, utilities run $120 a person- mostly during very very hot and very very cold months- however, they are usually less. I try to do my part in conserving energy- turning my lights off when not in use, conserving water, and not turning the air cond. or heat too high or low. I have plans on planting a fall garden in the back yard- so if you like gardening you are welcome to join in and plant some things. Creative peaceful environment.
