Role Description
This is a full-time/part-time remote role for a Remote Travel Planning Specialist. This role will be responsible for planning and arranging travel itineraries, managing travel agency operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing exceptional customer service. The Remote Travel Planning Specialist will handle various client inquiries, book accommodations, flights, and other travel-related needs. Additionally, you will research and recommend destinations, coordinate travel details, and resolve any travel issues that arise.
Qualifications
Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills
Strong Communication skills
Experience in Travel Arrangements and Travel Agency operations
Ability to work independently and remotely
Proficiency in travel booking software and tools
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Experience in sales and marketing is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with Clients: Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, needs, and budget, offering personalized travel advice and itinerary recommendations.
Plan & Book Travel: Assist clients in booking flights, hotels, car rentals, excursions, and other travel services, ensuring all details are accurately arranged.
Provide Expert Recommendations: Stay up-to-date on travel trends, destinations, and industry changes to offer informed recommendations on destinations, activities, and travel packages.
Customer Support: Offer exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns before, during, and after their trip.
Build Relationships: Develop strong relationships with clients by providing ongoing support, helping with future trips, and ensuring repeat business.
Stay Organized: Manage multiple client bookings simultaneously, keeping all client information, travel details, and communication up-to-date in the company’s CRM.
Handle Changes & Cancellations: Assist with modifications to itineraries, including cancellations, rebooking's, and other adjustments as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in a customer service role.
Familiarity with travel insurance and other related services.
Knowledge of international travel requirements (e.g., visas, passports, vaccinations).
Certification and training will be provided.
