Tribal CHAKESH from Afgan Mazari Sharif Region.
With a three traditional (Fil Pai) Chakesh gul design format.
("Fil Pai" literally means "elephant's foot" and refers to the largest type of Turkoman gul - the octagon-like motif. Afghan Chakesh Rugs can be easily identified by the diamond-shaped motif in the centre of the Fil Pai gul).
