We are raising 5 pigs that will be taken to the processor on December 9. If you are interested in pre-ordering a half or whole, let us know. They will be $5.50 per pound hanging weight, which includes the processing fee (somewhere around 150 pounds per pig). This is a great source for humanely and naturally raised pork.

These pigs will be raised on pasture and woods and will have access to pig feed (corn and soy bean mix). The plan is that they will be taken to Bonds Processing near Bowman, Georgia to be processed where the buyer will decide how the meat will be cut and pick it up when it is ready. They do not smoke or cure meat here or anywhere else around here that we have been able to find, so that would have to be done by you if you want that. If you are interested in purchasing and have other ideas about processing we will do our best to work it out with you. We really want this to be a good experience for all involved. We will request a deposit of $50 per half ($100 per whole) that will of course go toward the purchase price. This deposit will be refunded if we can not fulfill the order for any reason.
