This dual registered red bull is the product of a registered Red Angus cow crossed with a registered American Aberdeen bull (formerly known as Lowline Angus). He is registered with the Red Angus Association (RAA) and also with the American Aberdeen Association (AAA). Both the sire's picture and the dam's picture are included in this listing. Located in Good Hope, Georgia, approximately one hour east of Atlanta, just south of Highway 78 and north of Interstate 20.
If you like red Aberdeen's or Red Angus cattle. now is your chance to move in that direction. If you have a black cow or heifer carrying the red gene, there is a 50% chance she will produce a red offspring with this bull. A red offspring will always produce red offspring when bred to a red bull or cow. This docile bull combines the gentle natured, easy-keeping, moderate-frame traits of Aberdeen cattle with the maternal strength of Red Angus, making him a strong prospect for breeding programs seeking moderate size and efficiency. If you need a smaller bull for your first time heifers, he would be great for that as well. I have never had to pull a calf with these moderately framed cows and they receive the benefit of hybrid vigor while still remaining true to their Angus heritage.
Red Bull Ear Tag: N212. This 1+ year-old red Aberdeen bull will be ready for breeding by the end of this year.
Sire: Fullblood Red Aberdeen Angus (see last photo)
Registration Number: FM15561
