Kaman was making guitars for Ovation in the late 80s or early 90s and are more know for their bowl back acoustic guitars. This GTX electric guitar model has a double cutaway body style, reverse headstock design, Maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with mountain-style inlays, 2 pickups, black Ping tuners, locking nut with KMD fine tuning tremolo system. The pickups are Kaman branded; neck position is an XK110 covered single coil and bridge position is an XK120 high-output double-coil pickup. They are controlled by a 3-way switch, a coil tap switch for bridge humbucker, master volume and tone controls.
Scale length: 25 1/2"
This used guitar is in overall good condition, especially considering its around 35 years old. Strings are old and need to be replaced for better sound. There are some light scratches and dings. Couple of paint cracks where neck meets body. See photos. Note: Does not include tremolo bar. Missing some small screws in the back plate.
