For sale is a used Percussion Tabla Drum Set with a Brass Bayan and Sheesham Wood Dayan. They appears to be quality hand made Indian instruments, consisting of a pair of hand drums of contrasting sizes and timbres. Animal hide skins (goat?). Both are leather strap-tuned.

The Sheesham (or similar hardwood) tabla is paired with a brass bayan. This percussion set is used in the classical, popular, and devotional music of the Indian subcontinent and in Hindustani classical music.

Dayan head diameter 5 inches.Dayan height 10.5 inches.
Bayan head diameter 9 inches. Average Bayan height 11.5 inches.

Overall good condition. See photos (metal 12" rules shown for scale). Please view the pictures carefully and consider them part of the description.

I know little about these drums, so you are welcome to check it out if you are seriously interested. Includes the 2 drums you see in the photos. I may consider trades for guitars. If you know anything about these drums you know what they sell for. Low ballers will be ignored.
