For sale is a lightly used "The Loar" Archtop Cutaway Hollowbody Electric Guitar in a beautiful Vintage Sunburst finish. Model: LH-350-VS. These guitars were only made between 2010 to 2018 and are not that easy to find for sale at a reasonable price. Sounds great plugged and unplugged, which is way cool.
This instrument is Loar's take on an Gibson L5-style, electrified archtop guitar. It has a solid, carved spruce top, Gibson-shaped 16" wide body complete with a Florentine cutaway for upper fret access. The maple back and sides help to provide the bright, percussive sound guitarists look for in an archtop. Plugged-in the Kent Armstrong floating pickup, offers a warm, clean sound for traditional jazz and chord melody styles.
Has a Mahogany set neck with vintage profile finished with an inlaid mother-of-pearl “Fleur-de-Lis” on the headstock. The bone nut and compensated adjustable ebony bridge let the sound of the select tonewoods resonate clearly. The pickguard has a single volume knob that adds to the vintage look and feel.
· Rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays
· Grover vintage-style "butterbean" tuners
· Ivory body and neck binding
· 19 frets
· 24.75" scale length
