Clements Beitel possibly the first American born apprentice for Martin Guitars built this guitar in June 1894. Brazilian back and sides.Adirondack spruce top. Small 0/ Parlor size. Wide fingerboard. Original gold geared tuners in good shape and work well. All body bindings are ivory. Neck wood is cedar. Bridge is ebony.Neck shape is the original big V same as Martin. This guitar takes light gauge steel strings. Very loud and strong for the size. Excellent condition. Makes you want to keep it close at hand to play. Very light. Great tone and alive. Action is perfect unlike most that are this age. This is kept in my climate controlled studio. Set up a time to see and play. Cash or bank wire only. Very few of these guitars around. Don't miss this opportunity to have and play a part of history. Besides the pics you can find the guitar on google with more pics and sound clips. T.S.
