It is loaded with a pair of the original Celestion Classic Lead 80 speakers that were "modified" to THD specs. A little forum digging reveals this just meant they were lightly doped for better tone. I can't say enough good things about these speakers. They are full, punchy, and despite their huge power handling, nice and sensitive for low volume playing as well. That said, at 160-watts combined handling, feel free to stick your Marshalls, Hiwatts, Oranges, whatever on top and let it rip. The beauty of these speakers, though, is that they are similarly adept at producing both shimmering American tones and raunchy British tones. They are quite neutral--dare I say "transparent?"
In short, this cab has it all: VERY solid build, killer tone, and cool looks. Condition is excellent for its age, showing only minor handling marks here and there. Also comes with a padded cover.
